π What is a Fund Request?β
In HelloMe, a Fund Request is when a remitter (customer or business) asks to add money to their wallet or ledger account on the HelloMe platform.
This is the first step to:
- Top up a wallet balance.
- Fund future FX transactions.
- Ensure enough balance to make payouts to beneficiaries.
β Why Use Fund Requests?β
Fund Requests help HelloMe:
- Record exactly when and how money enters the system.
- Keep track of which remitter is funding their account.
- Ensure funds are available before processing payouts or currency swaps.
- Stay compliant with payment provider rules.
π Fund Requests β Search Filtersβ
The Fund Requests page has search filters so you can easily find requests:

| Reference # | Search for a request by its unique reference number. |
| Remitter ID | Filter by the remitterβs ID. |
| From Date / To Date | Find requests within a specific date range. |
| Select Currency | Filter by currency (e.g., GBP, USD). |
| Status | Filter by status β e.g., Pending, Approved, Cancelled. |
Click Apply to run the search or Reset to clear all filters.

| Amount | The amount requested, including the currency (e.g., GBP 1000). |
| Status | Shows the current status: Pending, Approved, or Cancelled. |

1οΈβ£ A remitter requests to fund their wallet or ledger.
2οΈβ£ The request appears in the Fund Requests list for review.
3οΈβ£ The admin checks the details, verifies the source of funds if needed.
4οΈβ£ The admin approves or cancels the request:
- Pending: Waiting for action.
- Approved: Funds are cleared and added to the balance.
- Cancelled: The request is rejected or invalid.
Once approved, the balance is updated and can be used for FX Transactions, Banking Transactions, or Payouts.
